The Kincardine Lodge and fishings are located in the peaceful surroundings of the Upper Spey valley. The property is both private and tranquil and yet the towns of Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey, and the activities that they offer, are both but a short drive away. The Lodge and fishings have not been available for lease in recent years and there is the opportunity to take up a tenancy at prime times of the fishing calendar.

The Kincardine beat, on the upper River Spey, comprises approximately 1 ¾ miles of right bank fishing, with 19 named pools fishing a total of 4 rods. There is good access to the beat and a charming fishing hut. The Spey has had excellent runs of salmon over the past two seasons and the fish start to arrive at Kincardine in April. In addition to salmon the beat is also famous for its sea-trout fishing and fishing through the evening into the night can be very productive indeed.

Kincardine Lodge, located on the banks of the Upper Spey, is a private Scandinavian-style timber lodge with a traditional turf roof. The Lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people across 3 twin and 1 double bedrooms. The open plan kitchen and living room, with stunning views of the Spey valley, is the focal point of the property. The Lodge is the perfect base for fisherfolk as the river flows just a stone’s throw from the Lodge.
