Kinloch is situated on the north coast of Scotland in the most magnificent setting. The estate overlooks the Kyle of Tongue and takes in the slopes of Ben Hope together with the entire river Kinloch. It is 20,000 acres of wild, tranquil beauty and the lodge sits at its heart. The Kinloch is a wonderful spate river with tidal sea trout fishing, there is wild stalking across Kinloch and its neighbours Hope and Ben Loyal and the estate is the perfect place for a stalking or fishing holiday, for a relaxing family holiday or simply to soak in the views and clean air of the north coast.

Kinloch offers a great many sporting activities and is the ideal base for a family holiday.

Fishing
The estate owns the whole of the Kinloch system, and guests have the exclusive use of the river. The Kinloch is an intimate spate river and in the right conditions exhilarating sport with grilse, seatrout and the occasional salmon can be enjoyed.  Given water, the first few fish will ascend the river in May and runs, dependent on water, peak in July and August.  The season draws to a close on the 31st October.  In periods of low water fishing, it is still possible to have success by fishing early or late or by prospecting for seatrout and salmon in the tidal reaches.  Some of the lochs are very fertile and ‘glass casers’ are present to surprise the unwary.  For a different experience, day boats can be booked on the famous Loch Hope seatrout fishery, which is only a short drive away.  For the 2017 season exclusive use of the River Hope is included for Kinloch tenants.

Stalking
Kinloch also offers exciting stalking and a number of days on the hill can be offered to tenants in August, September and October. Furthermore the neighbouring estates of Hope and Ben Loyal are under the same ownership allowing guests to stalk across the three different estates with diverse terrain and challenges.

Kinloch will also appeal to non-sporting members of the party.  The Estate is an oasis of tranquility and is located in one of the most beautiful, remote and unspoilt parts of Scotland with magnificent beaches and hillwalking.

Kinloch is a much loved traditional sporting lodge that has recently been refurbished to an exceptional standard. The lodge sleeps a total of 14 and there are 3 x Twin/double zip link bedrooms, 2 x double bedrooms and 2  x twin bedrooms.

The lodge will be let on a fully catered basis in the 2017 season.
